This suite was commissioned by a grant from Meet The Composer. It utilizes some of the compositions from the book of the Adderley Quintet plus some others not associated with them. It is an exciting piece of music which puts forth the essence of Cannonball's Quintet, his collaboration with a Vocalist, and Big Band.
